Transitioning from Co-sleep
This evening I’m working for a co-worker to have Saturday off in order to spend the day with Connor and Sarah! As such, we thought it’d be a good time to start Connor in transitioning over to sleeping in his own room. He’s one now, and is quite the bed hog. More than that, he’s simply too big!
Sarah put him down tonight and it sounded like it was a bit of a struggle, but he finally gave in and went to sleep. This is a big step for us and the little guy. It is heart wrenching to hear him crying, then a few innocent sobs. One can feel like a cruel parent for doing it even though you know it must be done.
I hope tomorrow is an easy time as well, but hopefully we can stick to our guns. It’ll be tough, but I know we can do it! It’ll be nice to have some mummy and daddy time again!
